P & P Custom Marine Canvas specializes in custom design, fabrication, and
installation of boat tops, mooring covers, and enclosures for a wide variety of
boats. We are also your source for boat cushions and do expert repairs
such as re-stitching, patching, and window replacements.
Frames:
We design and bend stainless steel frames using only heavy walled tubing (.065) and top quality stainless hardware. The completed frame is installed to the customer's specification and then is patterned.
Canvas Construction:
We prefer to use high quality fabrics, such as Sunbrella acrylic canvas and Stamoid. All exterior products are stitched with Tenara (by Gortex) thread, which is guaranteed to last as long as the fabric thus eliminating the need for re-stitching in the future.
All frame pockets are zippered making the removal and installation of the canvas tops quicker and easier. The window material we prefer to use is Strataglass vinyl 30 or 40 mil thick, which has a long life expectancy and is highly scratch resistant.
Choice of materials is always discussed with the customer, who has the final say. The price of material may vary but the quality is always top notch.
